Shipping Policy
Shipping will be “best method.” This usually will be FEDEX ground service in the continental US but may be the post office. A small handling charge is normally added to freight charges to help cover packaging. There is an additional handling fee for international shipments to cover additional paperwork and transport to the Post Office. Large items are normally shipped by truck. Note: Truck shipments are less expensive if addressed to a commercial address. International orders are always shipped via the U.S. Post Office IF possible. No C.O.D. orders will be accepted. For international orders payment via wire transfer may be required. All prices are FOB our address. We offer local pickup through our website for residents in the surrounding areas of California and Las Vegas, NV. Handling times for local pickup are the same as shipping (see below) and you will be contacted as soon as your order is ready for will call.
HANDLING TIMES:
We cannot guarantee orders will ship the same day, including expedited shipping. It would be preferable to place expedited orders over the phone to ensure delivery by the date needed. Handling time is usually 5-7 business days, but may be longer depending on complexity of the order or during busy seasons.
LEAD TIMES FOR SPECIAL ORDERS, BACK ORDERED ITEMS, OUT OF STOCK ITEMS, GENERAL ITEM AVAILABILITY, and any other ETA mentioned on this site or through email/phone ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE WITHOUT NOTICE. We do not control the supply chain, and usually lead times given to us from suppliers are, AT BEST, approximate. We usually ship orders complete, but if there is an item on your order causing a major delay we try our best to contact you regarding the situation. If we have to split your order, this may incur additional shipping fees. We at Ireland Engineering Motorsports would like you the customer to know that we would never intentionally delay or withhold orders, in fact, it is in our best interest to move orders out as fast as we can.
We cannot guarantee when packages will be delivered. This is the responsibility of the carrier (usually FEDEX). Customer assumes ownership of goods upon shipment. Shipping damage must be reported immediately to the driver as you receive the delivery. IF YOU DO NOT REPORT DAMAGE TO THE DELIVERY DRIVER PER FEDEX POLICY: “receipt of the shipment by the recipient without written notice of damage on the delivery record is prima facie evidence that the shipment was delivered in good condition.” We will assist in resolving shipping claims, but cannot be responsible for lost or damaged goods. For us to be able to assist in shipping claims the original packaging MUST be retained. Photos must be taken of the damaged package(s) and emailed to us. Ireland Engineering Motorsports will not be responsible for any consequential costs or damages due to shipping delays or damaged/lost goods.
PLEASE OPEN AND INSPECT YOUR PACKAGE IMMEDIATELY UPON ARRIVAL! YOU HAVE 60 DAYS AFTER DELIVERY TO REPORT ANY DAMAGE TO YOUR ITEM(S) DURING TRANSIT. WE CANNOT BE HELD LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGED GOODS REPORTED AFTER THIS PERIOD.
The warranty period for returns will begin on the confirmed delivery date. Claims have been denied in the past due to the length of time when item was delivered to when the issue was discovered. In the rare instance a mistake was made on our end, the sooner we know about, the better we will be able to resolve the issue amicably for both parties.
