Product Description

The Weber 38/38 is the most cost-effective performance upgrade for cars with a 2 barrel downdraft carb. It has two synchronous 38mm barrels (as opposed to the progressive linkage of the 32/26), and modified engines show a big improvement with this carb over the 32/36. We think this carb is functionally a better choice for most than a dual sidedraft set up (although DCOEs have their place too).

This carb is not “smog legal”. We can rejet the carb for your engine or supply you with additional jets for tuning. You must enlarge the intake manifold plenum opening for the larger butterflys and modify/replace the linkage rod, but otherwise the 38/38 will bolt right onto the stock 2 barrel manifold. We also sell the correct throttle rod. This version uses an electrically-operated choke which only needs a single 12 volt switched lead to operate.
