IE’s short tubular exhaust header for the M10 engine, this header is a direct replacement for the factory cast iron manifold and a nice alternative to the Tii manifold. It bolts directly to the factory twin down pipe and the factory exhaust system. Tubing size is 1 5/8″. They’re designed correctly with cylinders 1-and-4 and 2-and-3 paired together and the tubes are merged nicely at the collector. They have nice beefy 3/8″ flanges and the tubes are welded and blended inside. Made in USA. With these you get a nice performance upgrade and good looks, but without fitment or clearance concerns of full racing headers.
Note: Our customers have reported that this will fit a non-California E21. California E21’s had a thermal reactor similar to a 2002 and a special downpipe which will not work with these headers. These DO NOT fit right hand drive cars.(Australia, UK, Etc.)
Note 2: The headers are made from 409 stainless steel. To further combat under hood temperatures, consider ceramic coating. Ceramic coated headers will appear almost chrome at first and will dull more over time into an almost light gray color.
