Adjustable Height Rear Coilover Kit

Product Description

Our rear adjustable-height coilover kit now uses custom-valved threaded body aluminum shocks which have a spherical bearing at the bottom (no rubber). These kits are complete with springs and ready to bolt on. These Coilovers have adjustable rebound and dampening with a single knob (you adjust both at the same time).

Important: As this arrangement puts added stress on the shock towers, you should carefully inspect your car before ordering. We strongly recommend using some form of added chassis reinforcement (ie: rollcage tied into shock towers or strut bar). Specify spring rate and stud or heim joint upper mounts. Stud mounts are used for mounting in the stock location. Typically heim joints are used if tying the coilovers into the bars of a roll cage.

Installation note: The spherical bearing mount on the bottom that mounts to the trailing arm is a 12mm bearing. A 12mm stud is supplied but you will need to ream out the hole on the trailing arm with a 14mm drill, and then press in the stud. You can optionally fabricate your own double-shear mount as seen in the picture (for added peace-of-mind).
