Race Header Round-Port Style – 2002

Description

Our 4-into-1 full race step-header. The primary tubes of this header use 1-5/8″ diameter primaries and run a 2.5″ collector w/ 02 sensor bung. If you prefer a 3″ collector contact us or leave it in the comments section of your order.

Note 1: The headers are made from mild steel. To prevent rust and corrosion, consider either ceramic coating or using high-temp paint. Ceramic coating is special order, please allow for an additional 1.5 week lead time.

Note 2: This header was designed for ONLY for race engines with a “round-port” exhaust port (as found on period BMW Motorsport Cylinder heads). These cylinder-heads were often used on period Alpina race 2002’s. The exhaust ports on these heads were opened up into a rounded shape for better flow.

Note 3: These headers have been made with individual upper flanges and a slip-fit collector.
