Our Oil Cooler Cap Adapter for the M30B35 6-cylinder engine allows you to install an oil cooler without modifying or replacing the oil filter housing. you simply replace the stock filter cap with this billet aluminum cap and build your oil-cooler setup from there. Made right here in Southern California.

Fitment Note: You must measure the center post in your factory filter housing, and ensure that it is NO LARGER THAN .960″ Outside Diameter to use this adapter. The inside diameter of the mating tube in our adapter is .965″. This adapter ONLY fits UPRIGHT style oil filter housings, if yours filter faces down then this will not fit.

Replacement Filter Note: When changing your oil use the Mahle OX154/1D oil filter, it is used on various E36, E46, E39, Z and X-series vehicles. The OX154/1D filter is double-flanged with double o-rings to prevent oil bypass. Other makes of filter do not share this design, and will allow bypass of unfiltered oil.

Technical:
The adapter replaces the oil filter cap, and directs the filtered oil out to a cooler. Oil returning from the cooler is directed back into the engine in the normal manner.
-x2 Oil-line Port Size: 1/2″ NPT (pipe thread); we suggest using -10AN hose & fittings.
-x2 Auxiliary Port Size: 1/4″ NPT (can be used for a temp sensor, oil pressure sensor, and/or to feed oil to a turbo or supercharger.)
