All aluminum fuel accumulator used to rectify fuel starvation during high velocity turning in racing.
Especially, E30’s have fuel starvation problems when driven hard; some cars begin to exhibit this problem just below 1/2 tank, which can ruin your day and damage your car. While there are a number of complicated and/or expensive remedies, we’ve discovered a cheap and easy solution in this fuel accumulator. By using a small (about a pint) accumulator which receives fuel from the return line and directs it to the fuel pump, the starvation problem is eliminated.
Note: This fuel accumulator system requires that the car have a 2 pump system with the in-tank supply pump.
