These plates are designed to reinforce the weak factory spot welded control arms. They give the arms more stability from road debris (we have seen some pretty mangled arms).
As prices and availability of this part is becoming more difficult, it is now more reasonable than ever to re-use and repair your old used ones.
Each set comes with 4 pieces to do 2 sides of each control arm. Optionally you can order 2 sets to achieve a ‘full box’. We also recommend seam welding the arms for added security while you are there.
Note: If your control arms are bent or banged up you may need to straighten them to allow for ease of fitment of these plates.
