Although not often used on the larger street cars, coilovers are essential for race cars and are quite useful for dual purpose cars as well. They allow you to set the ride height wherever you want, and change it in only a few minutes.
On our kit, the threaded sleeves sit on a machined collar (provided) which must be welded to the strut. The lower perch is threaded on it’s ID so you can turn it up or down to change ride height. This kit is designed for use with 2.5″ ID springs which are available in 25 lb. increments and various lengths (springs sold separately). We suggest a length of either 7 or 8″.
