Swap the quicker ratio E36/Z3 or E46 Steering rack into your E30. Please select airbag or non-airbag model.
-Airbag option comes with 2 spacers for the rack to fit to the subframe. (Picture 2)
-Non-airbag option comes with the 2 spacers for the rack to fit the subframe and the spacers and hardware for the steering knuckles. (Picture 3)
The optional firewall plate will re-locate the hole for the steering column to the correct position and the dust boot will mount right on. This mounts inside the car under the carpet and can be sealed via some silicone sealant or similar. Note that installation of an E36 or E46 steering rack into an E30 will require modification/cutting of the firewall.
Installation Note: The 2 spacers for the steering rack to fit the subframe will be mounted above the rack.
