The rear shock mounts on E30’s, E36’s, and E46’s are well-known weak points; that clunking you often hear might be broken stock mounts. Our mounts are machined from heat-treated billet aluminum, and the bushings are high quality urethane. The mounts also include an upper reinforcement which fits on top of the shock tower to distribute load over a larger area and prevent cracking (our competitors don’t provide this).
