The rear shock mounts on E30's, E36's and Z3's are well-known weak points; that clunking in the rear you often hear might be broken stock mounts. Our mounts are machined from heat-treated billet aluminum, and the bushings are high quality urethane.
The mounts also include an upper reinforcement which fits on top of the shock tower to distribute load over a larger area and prevent cracking, for the Z3 chassis we weld the mount bolts to this plate for easier installation.. |
