Shipping Policy

Shipping will be "best method." This usually will be FEDEX ground service in the continental US but may be the post office. A small handling charge is normally added to freight charges to help cover packaging. There is an additional handling fee for international shipments to cover additional paperwork and transport to the Post Office. Large items are normally shipped by truck. Note: Truck shipments are less expensive if addressed to a commercial address. International orders are always shipped via the U.S. Post Office if possible. No COD orders will be accepted. For international orders payment via wire transfer may be required. All prices are FOB our address.

We cannot guarantee orders will ship the same day, including expedited shipping. It would be preferable to place expedited orders over the phone to ensure delivery by the date needed. Handling time is usually 2-3 business days, but may be longer depending on complexity of the order or during busy seasons.

We cannot guarantee when packages will be delivered. This is the responsibility of the carrier (usually FEDEX). Customer assumes ownership of goods upon shipment. Shipping damage must be reported immediately. We will assist in resolving shipping claims, but cannot be responsible for lost or damaged goods. For us to be able to assist in shipping claims the original packaging MUST be retained. Ireland Engineering will not be responsible for any consequential costs or damages due to shipping delays or damaged/lost goods.

Return Policy

Returns may be made with 30 (thirty) days. All returns must be authorized by Ireland Engineering to be eligible for refund. Refunds will not include any freight charges. A restocking charge will normally apply unless the product was defective (usually 10%-15%). Customer must return goods in "as new" condition to be eligible for a refund. Return shipping costs are customer's responsibility. Shipping damage must be reported to the carrier on receipt. No returns on electrical products. In some cases a manufacturer's warranty may apply.

Core returns are subject to inspection. Cores that are too rusty, cracked, snapped bolts, modified, or bent may not be considered usable. If you have questions on the usability of your core please send us pictures. Cores that are determined to be unusable will not receive core credit. Unusable cores can be returned to the customer, but shipping will be customer's responsibility.

Refunds for returns or core returns will usually happen about 2 days from the receipt of the items. Core returns may take longer if we have to re-work them to determine eligibility. Once a refund is processed it usually takes 3-5 business days to show up in your account, but may vary depending on you financial institution. Refunds for returns or core returns can also be used as store credit if desired.

Transit times DO NOT include handling time.

International: FedEx International Priority is 1-3 business days and FedEx International Economy is within 5 business days. THIS DOES NOT ACCOUNT FOR CUSTOMS CLEARANCE TIMES OR THE TIME IT TAKES FOR LOCAL MAIL DISTRIBUTORS TO DELIVER YOUR SHIPMENT. These times only account for the transit from it leaving our location to arriving in your country, NOT actual delivery at your doorstep.
