Upgrade part.
This oil cooler kit uses a Setrab 19 row cooler that measures 11.5" L x 5.75" H x 2" thick. Swivel adapters, compression fittings and stainless hose are AN-10 (note: even though they may be cheaper, NEVER use an oil cooler with 'slip-on' fittings, as a single failure can be VERY expensive). Complete kit includes cooler, sandwich adapter, AN compression fittings and braided stainless steel lines.
2002 installation: I usually mount the cooler in the nose to the left of the radiator, just forward of the stock battery location. |
